Beau's First Dental Appointment!

In the car headed to Dr. Tim's office! The morning started off a little rough. He woke up so late that he didn't get breakfast- only milk! I didn't want to wake him (he does not do good if I have to wake him) so I let him sleep. Therefore, he woke up just in time for me to get him dressed and out the door. I had to do some MAJOR sweet talking to him this morning to get him in a good mood and to like the idea of going to the dentist...........

He was a happy boy once we arrived.

Still waiting! It wasn't too long, though.

This is when it was ALL over! Yes- he was very dramatic during the actual exam and cleaning. He had to lay in my lap while Ms. Rebel and Dr. Tim looked into Beau's mouth.

He started finally warming up to them after he figured out that he was finished.

That is what Dr. Tim has been trying to get him to do since we arrived.......

Overall Report: NO cavities (YEAH), Teeth and gums look great. Has a slight overjet from sucking his thumb (AKA: upper front teeth stick out). We will be working on the thumb thing! I'm dreading it but Dr. Tim's said we have to........

I'm proud of him even though he was so scared. He just did not like it but I know that eventually it will become a piece of cake for him. They ALL said that the first appointment is never a very smooth one. He was fine as long as he was in his mommies lap......I hope he remembers that one day when he is a teenager. Yea right!
